The joint venture, Guitar Edge LLC, will expand and enhanced Guitar Edge magazine into a multimedia resourcsfor guitarists. Hal Leonard's Guitar Edge magazinew debuted in the summerof 2006. The magazinee specializes in providing accurate transcriptione in standard notation andguitar tablature, or tabs, for the hottest songs in all The new Guitar Edge will adopt the four-platform multimedia model pioneered by Premier Guitar, a Mount Iowa-based media company that publishes Premiedr Guitar magazine. The strategt features a print magazine supported by a free online Web site andweekly e-newsletter. The enhancedf Guitar Edge will make its debut with the September2009 issue.
