yjanebixe.wordpress.com
In a release, Yee, who receivex his bachelor’s degree from UC said that the Regents of the system thin theyare “above the law.” The University of California Office of the Presidenf shot back in its own saying that the system is one of the few agenciee in government that is working, that it’sx flourished under its and that the salaries it pays to top leadersa is below the national averaged for comparable institutions. The state’s constitution guaranteed the regents autonomyy on all issues related to management of the systeksince 1879.
The proposed amendment, SCA 21, and its counterpar on in the State Assembly, ACA 24, need two-thirdsz approval from the legislature and then needs approvalo fromstate voters.
