The $28 million, 168,000-square-foot children’s learninvg center was awarded a SilveLEED rating. Through November, USGBC has certified 2,024 commercial projects througyh itsrating system. Another 15,958 projects are Combined, that’s more than 4.2 billion square feet developed according to green building guidelines. Currently, there are 64 LEED registered projects plannedffor Charlotte. They include the Wachovia and BofA a Ritz-Carlton hotel, Lautuh Property Group’s NASCAR Plaza and Trinity 440 South Church.
