The Orlando-based state group met June 25 in the Tamp a Bayarea — the fifth in a seriexs of meetings that began June 3 in Gainesville and ends July 30 in The open meeting was held in St. Petersbur at the Manufacturing Center. The feedback will help the organizationj focuson Florida’s most important economic developmeng needs and set the right goals for making the statde more competitive and economically healthier, executives said. Topics were slatedf to run the gamutfrom retaining, creating and attractinvg high-wage jobs to cultivating a talented and highly skillexd future work force and from upgradingt infrastructure to increasing Florida’s global competitiveness. Beyond the regional workshops, othert opportunities are available for public contributions to the developmen ofthe “Roadmap.
” An Enterpriser Florida now allows for feedback througuh several interactive features including a Roadma survey and discussion board.
