California settles with Kmart, sues Target - The Business Review (Albany):

The state’s attorney general, Jerry Brown, joined by districtt attorneys from manyCalifornia counties, including Santa Clara and Contra Costa, filed a suit againsyt Minneapolis-based Target (NYSE: TGT), sayinhg it sent hazardous waste to various landfillxs in violation of state law.
